Finding an unmolested, low mileage one was nearly impossible, and when I did, the price was the same as a brand new Evo/STI with a warranty. I grew up a diehard Evo fan, but after looking countless times, I ended up with the same results you did. I did consider buying an Evo, but it was hard to find an unmolested original one. In conclusion, I would like to just learn this stuff. Like I asked above, is it the quality of the parts, etc.
#EVOM FORUMS DRIVERS#
" The Evo is better because it can make more power cheaper." " It's better because it is rarer." It is better because it's a drivers car that will run laps on the STi." This is all great, but it seems just like opinion without any explanation of what makes it so better. When you search online, it is always bias opinions. I am an enthusiast, and I am very methodical about everything I am choosing to do to this car. I only ask these questions because I am new to this scene. Is it the parts they used? The quality of the parts? Does Mitsubishi just make a better car?Īre there things that can be done to the suspension of the STi to make it the same as the Evo?

The awd system is better with the yaw control, and the way it handles power to the wheels.Īnyhow, I would just like to learn what makes the Evo so much better. The hood, roof, and trunk are all aluminum reducing weight, and making it stronger. The motor is bullet proof, and it takes nothing to make tons of horsepower. The handling is way better with better parts. So, I bought a 2018 STi, and shortly after, I had someone ask me why didn't I buy an Evo IX MR/SE? They responded with, it's a way better car. I am asking this only for my own learning experience. And it shows that they like their jobs!! This is a new, recently opened place.I don't want this to be a pissing match, or have bias responses. They are obviously experienced restaurant people. The service is excellent!! The staff know their beers, and the food menu items!! They will tell you how things taste. It feels like a place that Bogart ,and Bacall would be at. Normal price for it is $14.00, but if you go during lunch hr (11:00am-3:00pm) it's $12.00 !! Such a deal!! The atmosphere/decor is sultry. It was piled high with lobster (Evom must have Maine connections!! hahaha). I saw a Lobster Roll Plate go bye, to another table. The plate presentations make me smile!! We eat with our eyes, first (normally). Try the corn nuggets!!, soo good!! I also ordered the Spinach Salad with Strawberries. Try ordering a Combo Appitizer Plate, 3 appetizers for $12.00!! Your choice of 12 apps to choose from, several are vegetarian/vegan. Go there during happy hour, beers that are $6.oo or less, are two for one!! Lucky me, my favorite is normally $6.00!! The menu has lots of vegetarian options, with a specific listing for Tapas!! I love tapas!! (small servings). Evom Lounge carries a bottled Belgium lambic style at an. I love Lambic Style of beer (sour, first developed back in B.C. I love this place!! Intellegent beers!! (some people drink for the taste, like me, others for the effect (the 20 something set).
